STATE-OF-THE-ART WATCHMAKING ARTISTRY.
“There’s never any reason to stand still” – since the era of Ferdinand A. Lange, this has been the maxim strictly upheld by our master watchmakers. The movement of the LANGE 1 DAYMATIC is an impressive manifestation of how an established classic like the LANGE 1 can be transitioned into a new decade. It represents an exquisite milestone in traditional timepiece design and incorporates
a movement developed from the ground up. Its numerous special features include Lange’s manufactory-made balance spring as well
as the balance wheel with eccentric poising weights developed in-house.
A LANGE REMAINS A LANGE.
As in every LANGE 1, the three-quarter plate is made of untreated German silver and decorated with Glashütte ribbing. Nine of the 53 ruby-red jewels that are visible through the sapphire-crystal caseback are set in precious gold chatons. They are secured with blued screws, a first in a self-winding Lange movement. The hand-
engraved balance cock is a further hallmark of a genuine Lange watch – every single one bears the signature of its master artist.

PERFECTION TAKEN A STEP FURTHER.
The self-winding movement of the LANGE 1 DAYMATIC is powered by a central rotor that occupies almost the entire radius of the calibre. Cushioned by an intricate beryllium copper suspension system, it revolves freely in a minimal-friction bearing. Crafted from 21-carat gold with a platinum centrifugal mass, the rotor displays an embossed Lange signature. Even on the wrist of a calm individual, it always dependably delivers sufficient energy to the mainspring barrel.
