Since its product launch in May 2009, the LANGE ZEITWERK has fascinated watch aficionados all across the world so much that the master watchmakers of A. Lange & Söhne can hardly keep up with the production of this exceptional timepiece. In order to shorten the waiting time or to allow a close-up of this watch the traditional Ore Mountain manufacture is providing a very special service as from January 2010 onwards: The LANGE ZEITWERK as iPhone Application.

iPhone users now have the opportunity to explore the LANGE ZEITWERK in various case colours, turning it around or having it enlarged by using this free application. Particularly exciting is the following feature: the display, bridge and time slices as well as the plate can be disassembled by using the touch screen – almost in
the way it’s done by the master watchmakers of Lange in their workshops.

Besides a visit of the master watchmakers in the idyllically situated Glashütte, the new iPhone Application offers the chance to learn exciting news from the manufacture at first-hand. Additionally, a picture gallery presents the current Lange collection. And if you still prefer to experience the Lange timepieces in real, you can find out about the nearest point of sale. Furthermore A. Lange & Söhne offers iPhone users to register with their personal details for an exclusive information service. There you will be informed with indi- vidual hints, e.g. about Lange events in your area. And if you don’t find the answer to our questions, you can address them directly to
the manufacture or order a catalogue.


The application can be downloaded directly from the App Store using the iPhone. To this end you will however need a wireless network connection (Wi-Fi). You will find the Lange application in the App Store with the search function and the key word „Lange & Söhne“.

If you want to install the application with your PC and iTunes, please follow the link shown below to access the Lange-app. Then click on the screen button “Free” and enter the password for your account with the iTunes Store. After the download sync your iPhone to iTunes. The “Lange” icon for starting the app will now appear in the start-up menu of your iPhone.
